Intercultural Conflict Styles
Explore how cultural differences shape conflict styles, and learn practical strategies to recognise, adapt, and respond to conflict more effectively across cultures.
About
This highly interactive, engaging and hands-on workshop will help educators understand how culture shapes the way we approach and manage conflict.
Drawing on Mitchell Hammer’s Intercultural Conflict Style (ICS) model, participants will explore different conflict styles across cultures and develop practical strategies for navigating disagreements in diverse classroom and school communities.
The workshop provides a solid grounding in Hammer’s four-quadrant framework together with experiential activities and reflective exercises that educators can immediately apply to their own practice and adapt for use with students across all year levels
