Value Learning Intercultural Specialists deliver our projects with a team of talented and dedicated associates who share our passion for intercultural learning and professionalism to support the needs of our clients.  Our associates support us from locations around the world, bringing diverse intercultural values and experiences to our work as a team and enabling us to work across borders to deliver our programs.

Based in Jakarta Indonesia, Heidy is a qualified intercultural trainer with extensive experience developing and facilitating orientation and conferences for international youth, volunteers and intercultural practitioners. She has delivered intercultural workshops for Bina Antarbudaya, the Republic of Indonesia Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Youth and Sport.  

 

Heidy recently participated in an 18 month fellowship program in New York where she supported the education team to develop materials for the AFS International learning curriculum and helped develop a customised online intercultural training program for use by students during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Carla has a Masters degree in Cultural Anthropology from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. Since 2013, Carla has been actively engaged in cross-sector collaboration with a focus on embedding and improving student global citizenship outcomes in over 60 organisations worldwide. Carla is also the co-president of ISANA NZ, the membership association for professionals working in the International Education Sector in New Zealand.

 

Carla’s career has been dedicated to education and research, with 10 years working in a number of roles for Victoria University, the Open Polytechnic in New Zealand and Universal McCann in Latinoamerica.

Sarah has over 10 years’ experience in the fields of learning & development and intercultural education. She has designed and implemented interactive, creative and impactful learning opportunities for adults all around the world. Sarah has a passion for helping people develop and strengthen their intercultural competence and training skills and has trained hundreds of adults online and in person in 18 different countries on topics ranging from intercultural learning and organisational development to English as a Second Language.  

 

A Qualified Administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory and a former Faculty head at the Summer Institute for Intercultural Communication, Sarah holds a Master’s degree in International Education from New York University.
