AIYEP 2020 Application Form
Applications are open for Australian citizens aged between 21 and 25 years (born after September 1995 and before October 1999) to join the Australia-Indonesia Youth Exchange Program (AIYEP). AIYEP is a one of a kind, highly successful program marking its 39th year in 2020. Eighteen young Indonesians and eighteen young Australians aged 21–25 will spend seven weeks (November to January) interacting and engaging on an online learning platform. During the program you will undertake virtual work experience, enjoy educational and cultural performances, hear from guest speakers, work collaboratively on a project related to the impact of COVID-19 in Australia and Indonesia, and complete the Global Competence Certificate.
This fully funded program aims to provide opportunities for young people from Indonesia and Australia to gain a better understanding of the culture, development and way of life of each other's country. AIYEP alumni form a vibrant group whose members have gone on to work in areas with a continuing involvement in the bilateral relationship. Indicative dates for AIYEP are from 16 November 2020 to 4 January 2021.
Value Learning will hold/store information collected in applications only for the term of its contract as the program coordinator of AIYEP, upon the cessation of which all material will be stored/held only by DFAT, and deleted from Value Learning's records.
This application is for the Australian participants on AIYEP and is only open to Australian citizens.
Please note that participants will need their own reliable device and internet connection to engage in the program.
Applications for AIYEP 2020 closed at 11:59 pm AEST on 28 September 2020.
